Worship Reflections – January 3, 2010

Worship@Westhill

We had an absolutely great start to 2010.  Byron and the Ignite! team lead the congregation in song this morning.

We did a single service this week with both 9:30 & 11:00 services combined at 11;00.  The sanctuary was packed to the point of us having to put out additional chairs!  As we look towards the New Year, it will be excitiing to see what God will do through his servants at Westhill.  I couldn’t help but think how wonderful it would be if we got to the point of packing out 2 full services!

Great music by Ignite!, even with the congregation’s insistence on singing “How Great Thou Art” in their own timing, which didn’t match the worship team until the last verse!

Here’s how things looked in Planning Center:

  1. Nice set. I like doing the “How Great’s” together. We did the same thing last week. I’m in awe that anyone can sing Jesus Messiah in the key of “B”! (I have a low voice–I do it in “G”, and sometimes as low as “E”). Good stuff. Grace and peace.

    • Although it said B in Planning Center … I’m pretty sure it was in G!
